Atlantis BioActives Corporation is a privately-owned Canadian Corporation which extracts the primary taxane components from locally-harvested Ground Hemlock (Taxus canadensis).  The primary product is a semi-purified extract of the cytotoxin paclitaxel, used in the manufacture of generic treatments indicated for an increasing number of cancers. Atlantis was incorporated in 2002 and operates with a present staff of 30, within leased space in a new 33,000 square foot biopharmaceutical facility in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
